DAY 1: ARUSHA

On arrival, you will be met by our airport representative and transferred to Kibo Palace Hotel. This is a 5 star hotel which reminds you of an elegant country manor. It is located 15 minutes away from the city center.

DAY 2: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE

Breakfast at Kibo Palace Hotel then depart for Tarangire National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at Tarangire Sopa Lodge then have an afternoon game drive.

Tarangire is known for it’s huge herds of elephants which can be up to 300 of them. Unique game which can be spotted here are fringe-eared oryx and the peculiar long-necked gerenuk.

The swamps attract over 550 species of birds. Other animals are tree-climbing lions and leopards, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, elands and birds such as Kori Bustard, Ground Hornbills, etc.

DAY 3: TARANGIRE – NGORONGORO

Breakfast at Tarangire Sopa Lodge. Thereafter depart for Ngorongoro Conservation area arriving in time for lunch. You can view the crater from the lodge at designated points where a Telescope is placed. Afternoon, proceed for a game drive.

Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest volcanic caldera with over 25,000 animals living in this crater. Animals found include black rhinocerous, hippos, wildebeest, zebra, Eland, Grants and Thomson’s Gazelles, buffalo, reedbucks and many more.

The crater is also known to have one of the densest populations of lions. It is 610m deep with the floor covering 260 square Kilometres.

DAY 4: NGORONGORO – SERENGETI

Breakfast at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge then depart for Serengeti Game Reserve. Arrive in time for late lunch at Serengeti Sopa then proceed for an afternoon game drive.

Serengeti is Tanzania’s oldest and most popular park. It’s a world heritage site and was recently declared the 7th wonder of the world. Like it’s counterpart Maasai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya, Serengeti is famed for wildebeest migration where over 1.5 million wildebeest migrate to fresh grazing.

Other animals found here are large herds of buffalo, groups of elephants and giraffes, eland topi, kongoni, impala, leopards, cheetahs, aardwolf and serval cats.

Enjoy the beautiful sunset as you return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5 & 6: SERENGETI
Early morning game drive in this vast reserve then return to the lodge for breakfast. Lunch, then afternoon game drive. OR
Breakfast at the lodge then proceed for a full-day game drive with picnic lunches. Take advantage of the time in your hands and enjoy all that the reserve has to offer. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.
 
DAY 7: SERENGETI – LAKE MANYARA

Breakfast at Serengeti Sopa then drive to Kirurumu Tented Camp arriving in time for lunch. After breakfast, drive at 1000 hrs to the Ngorongoro Highlands. You will have lunch at Gibbs Farm, formerly a working coffee farm. Then proceed for an afternoon visit of the waterfalls en-route to Lake Manyara to arrive in time for dinner at your lodge.
 
You will spend the night at Kirurumu Tented Lodge. The lodge is perched on the edge of the Mto Wa Mbu escarpment and has great views of the Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara itself.

DAY 8: LAKE MANYARA – ARUSHA

Breakfast at Kirurumu Tented Camp then proceed for a morning game drive at Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park is a scenic gem. You will find troops of baboons, blue monkeys, bushbuck, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes and many more. The park is about 200 square kilometer and has over 400 bird species.

Return to the lodge for lunch, after which you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home.
